PS @Terry_Mbaika during the ongoing Homabay Investment Conference said SDD in collaboration with other Stakeholders has developed a County Investment Handbook aimed at improving financing investment and infrastructural development at Sub-national level & spuring economic growth.

PS @Terry_Mbaika during Own Source Revenue(OSR) benchmarking visit to @HomaBayCountyKE @gladyswanga said that SDD has developed through Kenya Devolution Support Program(KDSP)II an intervention in OSR to Foster accurate &predictable budgeting as well as Revenue Raising Measures.

PS @Terry_Mbaika during a consultative meeting on the completion of the transfer of Devolved Functions called on all the stakeholders to work together to enrich the process and to ensure all the remaining functions are transferred as required by the law.

PS @Terry_Mbaika during the commissioning of Iten Mother and Baby Wing at Iten County and Referral Hospital said that SDD will continue to co-ordinate the Devolution sector with an aim of strengthening National & County institutions to improve Devolved Functions delivery status.

In her remarks the PS reiteriated that the climate change was a global concern and Kenyans should purpose to participate in the forthcoming National Tree Planting day by planting atleast one tree each as a legacy to the future generations.

PS @Terry_Mbaika accompanied by JSC Commissioner Caroline Nzilani today launched the tree planting exercise and flagged off 10,000 seedlings she donated,geared towards #RaceTo15BillionTrees in Ukia Ward,Kaiti Constituency Makueni County.

PS noted that the last mile fibre connectivity shapes the Country's Digital Information and integration of technology for economic development.This, in turn supports service delivery and facilitates business opportunities in the Devolved units.

PS @Terry_Mbaika has called for collaboration,partnership & commitment amongst stakeholders for a successful restoration of Nairobi Rivers Basin.Speaking at a roundtable meeting,the PS asked for development partners support in actualizing the Commission's Vision & Strategic Plan.

Attended the ceremony for the installation of R.T Rev. Paul Kariuki as the first Bishop of the newly created Wote diocese at Unoa grounds presided over by H.E Hubertus Van Megen, the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya and South Sudan an event was attended by thousands of faithfuls.
