This last Ramadan was really special & life-changing. I haven't missed a single prayer since then and systematically fasted 1 day per week. I even learned a couple more Surat. Al hamdulilah 🙏🏾

HEALTH UPDATE* It’s been 6 months since I went in for a diagnostic angiogram which was supposed to take 30-45 minutes, only to have the tool they use break off inside my heart causing me to crash and spend 6 hours (awake for every second of it) on the operating table then a couple days in the cardiac ICU. It was a MIRACLE they were even able to retrieve it and save me. Well, this past week I went to the Cleveland Clinic, one of the BEST hospitals in the world, to get a second opinion from some of the BEST cardiologists in the world. They ran every test they could and did another diagnostic angiogram. Everything came back PERFECT. My bloodwork and labs look great as well as my heart is as healthy as can be. Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at the Cleveland Clinic. I am doing amazing. I still have some PTSD and sometimes feel like I'm back on that table looking up at that beige ceiling and bright light as I lie there helpless for 6 hours thinking my life was over. That's going to take some time but I’m blessed and so very grateful to still have that time to heal instead of being gone. Thank you everyone for all your support and prayers always.

35 years ago we all went to a football match, full of hope, on the sunniest of days. 97 men, women and children never returned. They're not just a number, they had lives and dreams, families that love them now and always. Us, the survivors returned, our lives changed forever, we lost the person that left home on that sunny morning. Today we remember the 97 and those we have lost along the way. Thinking about the families of those unlawfully killed and sending strength and love to everyone who survived and witnessed what happened including @LFC and @NFFC supporters #YNWA #Unityisstrength
