@mgtmccartney I've never understood why the profession have resisted being salaried. I would argue that it is possible to be true to one's principles in private practice. Some support from RCGP in this regard would be helpful. Hopefully Nov Council will take a step into his direction.

it's a bit disingenious to say that most NHS contracted GPs are private practices; the contract is very restrictive; the private work is limited to stuff NHS doesn't fund(eg insurance reports), we don't have private patients, our hours/workload/ is heavily held to contract/..

@mgtmccartney @NHSGGC It’s v easy to turn off individual triggers for things out of stock. GG&C has some of the best prescribing support pharmacists historically… S/S saves a massive amount each year for accepted switches. Again they should be sharing reports with you to reinforce.
