@maqstik If its an equivalent amount of the zil staked then I perhaps see the merit. What happens if one spends some bzil? Can it be acquired in another way or is only a portion of the staked zil available and the rest burned or forever locked or something similar?

This means one doesn't get rewards if they have to be "turned in" to unstake ones zil.

Not a pictorial one but a simple explantion:
Current staking: Put $ZIL into staking for staking rewards and stay bonded for about 2 weeks (can't take out your stake). Can't use your staked ZIL in other dapps such as ZILSwap, Pillar, ZILOs, etc.

@MoneyTodayShow Perhaps they cap the # of cbdcs and make them equivalent to the usage of an xrp in some way but that would then skyrocket the purchasing power of owning one? Maybe they distribute on a ubi type thing which is kinda scary tbh. Idk it's hard to tell. Tbh

I notice The Big Three (R3, EEA, Hyperledger) do not use tokens (for the most part). "What If" tokens are all just a scam to get people on board. Once we are in (digital ID, etc...), they all get deemed securities and we are left with The Big Three and CBDC's? Just a thought.
