My first ATF Form 1 has been approved!!! Took about 60 days. The ATF should be abolished, but at least I can add a stock. Next up is a suppressor.

Calm down. These happen a few times a year, and not just in the U.S.. No system is immune to occasional failures. None. You’re panicking for nothing, though. Pilots did exactly as trained…like we all are. There are multiple levels & they ran calculations to make sure if an engine failed on takeoff, they’d be able to safely return. That’s how we calculate it for every takeoff.

@Kaitain_US Order 60 of their diesel boats. We need more subs and can’t build nuclear fast enough apparently. They would make excellent coastal defense boats and free up our nuke boats to roam.
And yes, augment our fleet with Japanese built destroyers. We need a ton more of those too.

If it was just me, I’d double US military footprint in Japan with Japanese approval of course and contract out destroyer production to Japanese shipbuilding and possibly submarine production as well. And incorporate more Japanese military personnel into the US military and expand joint operations.

I am not a naval warfare expert.
However, the “experts” that are upset about the American sub sinking an Iranian naval combat ship, are absolute scum of the earth. Especially Americans or supposed allies.
This is warfare. Not a boxing match, football game, or some other sporting match.
It wasn’t “fair” for Iran to use IED’s. It wasn’t “fair” to use suicide bombers. Especially children.
You know what also wasn’t fair? It wasn’t “fair” for our supposed leadership to handicap our ground forces with patently stupid ROE’s.
When American lives are on the line I don’t want fair. I want overwhelming force and technological supremacy so that fanatics, fascists, dictators, communists, and anyone else who thinks to harm Americans instead has the images of us killing, destroying, and sinking our enemies burned into their brain.
