Ps. 104:15 says wine “gladdens the heart.” Jesus made 120 gallons at a wedding. The difference: Good wine = Joy, celebration, Isa. 12 after the fight. Sinful wine = Babylon’s cup. It’s joy from exploitation. You feel good because someone else is getting screwed. Rev. 18:4 connection “Come out of her… so you won’t share in her plagues.” You can’t sober up while you’re still in the bar. Thread Rippers don’t try to drink “responsibly” from Babylon’s cup. They leave. How you know you’ve been drinking it: You defend the system that hurts you — Like praising the bartender who waters down your drink and overcharges you. Truth feels like an attack — Sober people want water. Drunk people punch the guy pouring it. You need the next hit — Silence feels scary. You need noise, drama, new enemy, new product. The Scriptures give spirit, soul, and body as constituting all of man. The (Holy) Spirit is I AM, the same in character as the Divine Mind, or God the Father. Soul is our consciousness, that which we have apprehended or developed out of Spirit along with the impressions we receive from the outer world. Soul is both conscious and subconscious. Body is the form of expression of both spirit and soul. When by the Spirit the soul of a man is sanctified and perfected, having eliminated the limitations it perceived while still blinded by materiality, it results in the redemption, or spiritualization, of the body. The soul can be thought of as the garden. When the curse is reversed no longer will the earth (mind) bring forth thorns (carnal/material thoughts) but be perfectly tended to by the new Adam (Christ) The Spiritual Man, and regularly produce its fruits, and leaves for the healing of nations (Rev 22) So who are we? Depends. If we are born anew in Christ then when all is eliminated we will be exactly as we were meant to be. Perfect. Spiritual. Spirit ruling soul expressing dominion over body in glorious harmony. If not? Well the Bible warns about that too. “And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” Isaiah 66:24
