The David Mark’s faction of the ADC really think they can use emotional reasoning and blackmail to bluff their way out of a purely legal conundrum they brought upon themselves. Unfortunately for them, law does not admit of sentiment. Decisions are based on facts, evidence, and the interpretation of laws, rather than on sympathy, emotion or political considerations.
All those who are arguing about ‘status quo ante bellum’ are dispensing their time and energy chasing shadows and not the substance. This is because whether INEC recognises either faction for now is irrelevant: what is relevant is that there is a challenge regarding the take-over of the Party pending in court by a duly elected Deputy National Chairman. As long as that case remains in court, all the actions of either faction MAY end up being nugatory AFTER the deadline for nominations of candidates by INEC. The implication is that the ADC may end up having NO CANDIDATE for the election.
Therefore, instead of vilifying INEC, the ADC should rather thank INEC for this timely action of de-recognising both factions BEFORE the close of the window for nominating candidates. It has duly forewarned the Party of the danger ahead and opened a window for them to either find a new, risk-free platform or ask for accelerated hearing of the case in court, or politically settle the leadership question in the Party quickly.
To keep blaming imaginary opponents or INEC is purely mischievous: neither APC nor INEC prodded these grown adults and supposedly ‘experienced’ politicians to go and hijack an existing platform without sound legal advice and without properly sorting out every member of the leadership of that existing platform.
They say they will proceed with their congresses and Convention despite INEC’s decision and the ruling of the Court of Appeal. That is fine by us.
NEVER INTERRUPT YOUR OPPONENT WHEN HE IS MAKING A MISTAKE.

@Dumbgenius_ng But even the governor of the state had to address his people inside an harmoured tank and you people didn't say anything about it but it was the president addressing from the airport that's arousing your anger. We all can do better sha

@funshographix So what’s the difference between your Tinubu and those things you have listed above

This man is defending Sani Abacha today because he worked under him. Same Abacha that killed
Mrs Kudirat Abiola
Major General Shehu Yar'adua (via injection)
Chief Alfred Rewane
Admiral Olu Omotehinwa
Alhaja Suliat Adedeji
Dr Sola Omatsola
Bagauda Kaltho
Toyin Onagoruwa
Mrs Bisoye Tejuoso
Rear Admiral Babatunde Elegbede

If Tinubu was to be operating like abacha, you'll have been arrested & face death penalty for many crimes you've committed. May God forgive your ignorance because the freedom of speech you're enjoying today was fought by this current President of this nation.

Tinubu’s outing in Jos was poor, and here’s why:
1. He visited a grieving state, only to remain at the airport and gather mourners there—this is a very bad look.
2. He complained about “lighting issues” at the airport and also mentioned he had another meeting, which gives the impression that where he was heading next was more important than the lives that were lost.
3. His message at the venue lacked hope and motivation. Telling people that no amount of money can bring back their loved ones is unnecessary—they already know that. What he should have done is offer meaningful support, such as scholarships for the children of the victims.
4. So far, Tinubu’s leadership style has made past leaders—once seen as incompetent—appear better by comparison.
Yes, I support this government, but as of today, I would rate him 4/10.
I don’t care who wins in 2027—what matters to me is that Nigeria progresses.
Do better Mr President @officialABAT

@ManLikeIcey APC boys know when to praise and when to criticize this Administration. They are not zombies that moves blindly. That makes them far better than their counterpart in opposing Parties!!
English

@de_generalnoni Even if he slept in Jos, there is a mountain of hate without cause targeted at him.
I've followed him since 2003, and he is always blamed for what he has no hand in.

@channelstv Honestly, Nigerians should see this coalition as a big disappointment. This people that are not intelligent enough to safeguard their party through their selfish ambitions. How will they be able to build Nigeria. Awon unserious people

Tinubu’s outing today was good.
MC said because of the short time, people won’t be able to address him. He said nah, the National leader of APC must speak, present and former governors must speak, former deputy speaker must speak and then the head of the traditional leaders must speak and he wants to hear from everyone.
He then addressed everyone including families of the victims especially the woman in the trending video. Asked all the traditional leaders to meet him immediately he arrives in Abuja.
Bosun Tijani addressed everyone afterwards and said 5000 cameras to be installed at flashpoints as Huawei and other companies were already on ground to start installation.
You can continue to cry that he addressed them at the airport.

President Bola Tinubu has assured the people of Plateau State that the Federal Government will deploy an AI-enabled network of over 5,000 digital cameras to help law enforcement agencies combat insecurity in the state. The President gave the promise in his address during his visit to Jos today.

English

The address by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Plateau State was timely, firm, and deeply reassuring.
At a moment of pain and tension, his words reflected true leadership showing empathy for the victims, condemning the attacks without hesitation, and reaffirming the government’s commitment to restoring peace and security. This is the kind of leadership Nigerians expect: one that listens, acts, and stands with the people in difficult times. May the soul of the departed rest in peace 🕊️

The North served for 8 good years unopposed.
It is now supposed to be the South’s turn to also serve for 8 years, as agreed. However, I see some Northerners saying they don’t want Tinubu.
So here’s my question: what will happen to the remaining 4 years meant for the South, considering that the ADC is not giving its ticket to Peter Obi?

Journalists and members of the public have continued to reach out to me, seeking clarity on whether the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) had any role in my arrest. Given the level of public interest and speculation, I consider it necessary to restate the facts clearly and explicitly, based strictly on my personal experience.
On March 6, 2026, I was picked up by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) at NEPA Roundabout in Kaduna. The arrest was sudden, and no explanation was provided at the point of arrest. The following day, I was transferred to Abuja, a move I understand was carried out on the directive of the DSS Director-General.
Throughout my arrest and detention, I was never informed—either directly or indirectly—that the National Security Adviser or his office ordered or had any involvement in my arrest. At no point was the NSA mentioned in connection with the decision to detain me. In fact, from everything I could ascertain, the Office of the NSA was not even aware of my situation at the time it happened.
Efforts were made from different quarters to secure my release, but they did not yield immediate results. The turning point came only when my friend reached out to an official within the NSA’s office. That official intervened by engaging the DSS leadership, and from that moment, there was a clear and immediate shift in how my case was handled.
I may not have full insight into the internal discussions that followed, but the process of my release became more responsive, more structured, and ultimately led to my freedom. During this period, I found the DSS as an institution to be professional in its conduct and respectful of due process and my rights throughout my detention.
It is important to underline a simple but critical point: it defies logic to suggest that the same office that allegedly ordered my arrest would then facilitate or support efforts to secure my release. My experience points to the opposite. The intervention I witnessed was not that of an office acting against me, but one that contributed to the resolution of my situation and my eventual release.
Much of what has circulated publicly has been based on assumption rather than fact. This account is not speculation—it is drawn directly from what I experienced.
I remain grateful to everyone who reached out, showed concern, and stood by me during this period. Your support meant a great deal.
Sani Buhari. (Sarki Waspapping). 01/04/2026.
