I am in Birmingham today and tomorrow participating in the @ECORISC_CDT Conference.

We have had a fantastic first day of the @ECORISC_CDT conference. The presentations were great and we had two excellent interactive sessions. A highlight was @AngelCeballoos leading discussions with the aid of his trusty sword.

Day 1 of the @ECORISC_CDT conference ended with a water tasting activity led by @MilinonWater. Yorkshire tap water did particularly well.

A fantastic second day of the @ECORISC_CDT conference. There were some great talks on rethinking environmental risk and a fun interactive living wall activity.

The @ECORISC_CDT meeting concluded with a group photo of the first cohort of students who, over the next few months, will be finishing their PhDs. They have all done some fantastic and impactful work in the last 4 years.

@imogenrbailes, Lucy Hart, Ola Dosunmu – all PhD students based @LancsUniLec – collaborated with PhD students at other institutions associated with the ECORISC CDT to submit evidence as a part of a parliamentary inquiry into the human impact on the environment in Antarctica.
