Following rounds of exciting, quiz bowl-style book knowledge battles, the MES “Fab Five” and J-E-T Middle School “Page Turners” earned top honors for this year’s competition. Congratulations to our 2026 Battle of the books winners and all of our participants! (2/2)

The 37th Annual ECSD Fine Arts Festival held at Strom Thurmond High School (STHS) on Thursday, March 19, 2026, was a treat for the eyes and ears and the continuation of a long tradition of nearly four decades celebrating the many talents of our students. (2/2)

Members of the 2025 Johnston-Edgefield-Trenton Middle School Mock Trial state championship team and coaches were honored by members of the S.C. Senate during a general session ceremony in February. (1/2)

Members of the Edgefield County BOE approved the appointment of W.E. Parker Elementary School Assistant Principal Amber Williams as the school’s principal for the 2026-27 school year on Tuesday (3/24/26). Williams is in her third year of service as WEP assistant principal. (1/3)
