@EM203nramsay College was the first time I reached out & got treatment. It was life saving and altering. Be unabashedly selfish about taking care of all your health, physical, mental and social. Be confident about your treatment & share it with others as you can. Include your family. Be well.

Lots of the #ThingsDoctorsShouldntSay tweets are criticising doctors for using the Internet to answer questions. Surely that's a good thing if they use it appropriately? I'm always delighted when my doctor says "I don't know" and we search for the answer together.

What's depression? Imagine a file with all the things you fear, all the things that embarrass you, and all of the things you hate the most about you. Someone gets the file and uses it to scream the worst things imaginable at you. That's the voice of depression. #SickNotWeak
