The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island is the first “top 100” course I ever played and the first golf course I ever traveled to go play. The first time I walked into the clubhouse and saw the course and the beach through the big windows in the back, I was smitten. And I somehow love it more and more every time I go back. It’s easily one of the most beautiful courses on the planet and, with the possible exceptions of Fishers Island and my own beloved Sleepy Hollow, the best golf course on the East Coast from which to see a sunset.
