@DB_Simplemente for the higher up artists, they were treated much better, but it seems the people making the foundational animation were treated horribly. i know for certain that some of the key animators and corrections artists were treated way better than this

Polémica en Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle Varios animadores independientes que trabajaron en animaciones del juego han denunciado malas prácticas por parte de una empresa intermediaria llamada Cutting Edge. Según cuentan, comenzaron a trabajar sin firmar contrato y con tiempos de entrega muy cortos, todo por la ilusion de trabajar en un producto oficial de la serie. Al principio sus animaciones fueron aceptadas sin problemas, pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, la empresa rechazó algunos trabajos que ya habían aprobado antes y se negó a pagarlos. También aseguran que les ofrecieron pagos muy bajos, que eliminaron sus nombres de los registros del proyecto (quitándoles el crédito por su trabajo) y que les exigían entregar todo en plazos casi imposibles. Cuando pidieron mejores condiciones, la respuesta fue negativa. Según los animadores, la empresa justificó contratar artistas extranjeros diciendo que los japoneses “solo hacen el mínimo esfuerzo”. Todo esto contrasta con el enorme éxito económico de Dokkan Battle, que genera millones cada mes. Curiosamente todos estamos de acuerdo que estas animaciones estaban entre las mejores del juego en su historia. El tema ha abierto un debate importante sobre cómo se trata a los artistas detrás de uno de los juegos más exitosos de Dragon Ball.

@CruzCrafter @cloud_ruan99543 he was a jack in the box, in his design you can see the spring under the metal plates he put there. that was the toy he was built after, while poppy was a doll, classic old children's toys. he made himself into the 3 biggest fears in children, needles for hands and spider legs

@JackoPumpKid i think thats really clever that they went after the 3 most common fears in children with his design, it shows that prototype is desperate to be feared, he made a show of "killing" the 23 escapees because he wants to control them all and make them afraid of him

@JamesYo88 @LrCarnivalBroly toei is scared to let animators do whatever they want, they sanitize alot of it, we're seeing animation here that toei is scared to let on dragon ball because of the backlash they experienced during super. they sanitized the hell out of daima for that exact reason

@LrCarnivalBroly No you cant legitimately say that. Some Dokkan cutscenes are great but to place them above shit like the entire Broly Movie is dumb and disingenuous.

Crazy how you could legitimately say the best looking Dragon Ball media out right now is from Dokkan, a fucking mobile game.
