Hi Crime Watch, I was passing through the Redcliff turnoff near the new hotel, Zhongjin International Hotel, and I was very concerned by what I saw. I had stopped to refuel at Rockodox Service Station when a group of young people arrived. They looked between 17 and 24 years old, both men and women. I asked them where they were coming from at that time, as it was around 2:00 AM. They told me they were coming from work at the hotel. I then asked where they were going, and they said they were going home. Some said they stay in Rutendo, Simbi Park, and Redcliff. What worried me is that it was already 2:00 AM, and they are expected to be back at work by 6:00 AM. They are not given transport to and from work, yet they have to walk at night in unsafe areas. This is very dangerous. What if they are attacked or harmed? Please expose this inhumane treatment.

MAKERS OF HISTORY Eunice Goto is a celebrated figure in the history of Zimbabwean broadcasting, recognized as one of the pioneer female disc jockeys who rose to prominence during the golden era of Radio 3 (now Power FM). Eunice Goto was a household name in Zimbabwe during the late 1980s and 1990s. She belonged to a legendary cohort of presenters at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) who transformed the landscape of pop culture in the country. Working alongside other iconic broadcasters like Peter Johns, Hilton Mambo, and Admire Taderera, Goto was known for her sophisticated presentation style and musical knowledge. At a time when the airwaves were predominantly male-dominated, she was a trailblazer for female broadcasters. Her success paved the way for future stars like Bridget Gavanga, who famously joined the station in 1997 to fill the void left by Goto’s departure. Her voice became synonymous with the urban, vibrant energy of Radio 3, which was the premier station for the youth and "cool" generation of post-independence Zimbabwe. In the late 1990s, at the height of her popularity, Eunice Goto left Zimbabwe. Her departure marked the end of an era for many listeners who had grown up with her voice. Eunice Goto remains a nostalgic figure for Zimbabweans who remember the "glory days" of Radio 3. While she has largely stepped away from the public spotlight and the media industry, her legacy as a professional, charismatic, and pioneering DJ continues to be respected in Zimbabwean broadcasting history.

I would like to applaud the Warriors for their resilience in the #AFCON2025 tournament. Although results against Egypt and Angola were not in our favor, your determination continues to inspire the nation. As you face South Africa today, know that Zimbabwe stands firmly behind you. Play with courage, unity and pride. Victory comes to those who never give up. #GoWarriorsGo

I posted what I consider to be the three greatest Zimbabwean musicians of our time. Accusing me of tribalism because of my music taste is not only stupid, but it also invalidates real instances where tribalism is at play, and there are many! Do not force people to like your taste in music, and if they do not, it is foolish to call them tribalist. You like what you like, and I like Tuku, Mukanya, and Dembo, those are what I consider the three greatest musicians from Zimbabwe. There are many who will say Chimbetu, Majaivana, or Macheso are their favourites. Do they become tribalists because they prefer Majaivana over Mapfumo? Do not be silly! Music is a deeply personal and subjective experience, and it is completely natural for people to have different opinions and preferences when it comes to music, so don’t call people names simply because they like what you don’t like. It shows a very high degree of intolerance and idiocy to do so, I beg, create your own lists!
