Trump: Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!

It’s not a straight shot to the far side of the Moon! 🌕 Over approximately 10 days, the Artemis II astronauts will orbit Earth twice before looping around the far side of the Moon in a figure eight and returning home.

The appointment of General Christopher Musa as Minister of Defence was enthusiastically received by majority of people. He has been rather quiet since then. Or is it me that has not been following his activities?

I have lived long enough to know how these people operate. When ordinary Nigerians need a loan, they'll ask you for documents, guarantors, collateral, six months bank statements and even your firstborn. When a businessman wants to move serious money, he sits with lawyers, auditors, shareholders and a board. They argue for weeks because everybody knows one bad decision can destroy everything. But in Nigeria, a government can ask for billions of dollars and before the day is over, the same people who are supposed to question it have already clapped and approved it. This is not governance. This is a cartel. Nobody reviews billions of dollars, the repayment terms, the hidden conditions, the exchange rate risk, the long-term consequences and the real beneficiaries in four hours. The decision was already made before they entered that chamber. The meeting was just theatre. The papers, the speeches, the committee report, all of it was there to give the public the illusion that something serious happened. The game is simple. Borrow today. Announce “infrastructure” tomorrow. Award contracts to the same circle of politically connected companies next week. Half the money disappears into consultancy fees, inflated contracts and offshore accounts. The rest is used to keep the machine running until the next election. Then when the debt becomes too much, they come back to the same citizens they've ruined to tell them to pay more taxes, endure more hardship and be patient. I do not think they are incompetent. That is the mistake people make. Incompetent people make random errors. These people are very organised. They know exactly what they are doing. A country does not become a wreck overnight. It happens when every institution stops acting like a watchdog and starts acting like a rubber stamp. The legislature approves anything. The courts defend anything. The agencies explain away anything. Everybody is playing their part. Sometimes I think the real plan is not even to build Nigeria. The real plan is to keep Nigeria permanently unstable, permanently indebted and permanently desperate. A desperate population is easier to control. People who are fighting to survive do not have time to ask questions. That is why every year there is a new loan, a new tax, a new excuse and a new promise. Yet somehow the roads remain bad, the power remains unstable, the hospitals remain empty and the schools keep collapsing. They are not running a country. They are managing an extraction business, and Nigeria is the raw material.

Even Dangote cannot get the board of his own company to approve a loan of $6BN in 4 Hours but Bola got Akpabio to approve it for Nigeria in that period. They’re leading Nigeria like a rogue-nation hellbent on driving itself into becoming a Banana Republic.

On this Good Friday, I join Christian faithful across Nigeria and beyond in solemn reflection on the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. His selfless love, humility, and unwavering obedience to the will of God remain timeless virtues that inspire us all. As we commemorate His passion and death, let us be reminded of the boundless grace that flows from His sacrifice, a grace that calls us to live with compassion, forgiveness, and unity. May this sacred day renew our faith, strengthen our bonds as one people, and guide us towards a future built on love and peace. I wish all Christians a blessed Good Friday.
