It’s wild how the new FISH! world changes sparked this. Those admin tags disabling avatar flight/colliders mean no more easy fly-bys to join friends you gotta play the game, hop on boats, etc. But it accidentally created The Boat Test Is your friendship strong enough that someone pauses their fishing grind to come pick you up at spawn/island? I know if I stand at the dock, my crew shows up. But the fear they won’t? That’s a real gut-check moment about connection in VR spaces. Not hating on the world it’s hugely popular for a reason. Just fascinating how a fishing sim became an unintended social experiment. What do you think does your group pass the boat test? 🛥️🐟 #VRChat #FISH

There’s another fun thing about this if you can actually draw pictures in the sky as well using the same style of radiance.
You will never see this, but this is how beamforming can take place.
We’re just getting so ridiculously good with radiology that we understand things well enough to capture images in the sky or Wi-Fi through walls.

@nvidia it’s not going to be offering general public hardware for the foreseeable future.
If anything they’re going to force terminal computing on you and cloud based infrastructure.
Because they don’t wanna deal with the end user, You.
Offering any type of software change is trivial for them, but it’s good for optics in their eyes implying that they are doing things.

All right, so that’s awesome. I’m glad that they made this video. However, I know look at this go. I didn’t see this. I didn’t recognize this which means if my perception is of this, and everyone else is at the same nature telling people on social media might not be the way.
I wonder if physical media presence might be helpful. A sign the trooper can post next to his vehicle in the center median.

You know what I realized just now?
Furry art is identical to the diamond market.
AI art is like lab diamonds. Cheap, easily attained, and made for the mass market.
Real art is like natural diamonds. Expensive, possibly not worth the money, and marketed to the elite.
But at the end of the day, both are the same thing. Just an image on a screen.
I love furry art. I love the artists that make it. But someone has to state the obvious, and that is that this fandom needs to remain accessible to ALL, no matter their financial status.
We don't need exclusivity and unnatainability.
This fandom should be better than that.
