It certainly did influence my writing. I find it harder to write in brighter, lighter tone or maybe it’s just me not having explored enough style.

@Averagord Hmm! Since you’re into horror, you’ve probably already seen Eyes Without a Face (1960) dir. Georges Franju—but I have to mention it anyway since it’s my favorite movie ever. It still amazes me how a horror movie can be so poetic. Have you watched it?
