Personne l’a vu arriver ! Le Japon sort un modèle qui rivalise(rait) avec Fable et Mythos.
Seulement 444M de funding (soit même pas 1 journée de ce que dépense la Silicon Valley en IA) et une méthode d’entrainement de fusion de modèles beaucoup moins chère en compute.

Le dernier modèle de Mistral n’apparaît jamais dans les benchmarks qu’on voit passer ici. Je ne dis pas qu’ils sont leaders, mais il est loin d’être ridicule. De mon côté, j’espère que Mistral parviendra à se positionner dans le top 10 mondial, ce qui serait déjà énorme.

La décision américaine d’empêcher les Européens d’accéder à certaines des IA les plus puissantes était parfaitement prévisible. Même si c’est rageant, le mal est fait. Il est maintenant nécessaire de lever d’urgence les régulations européennes qui empêchent nos entreprises technologiques de grandir. La France doit par ailleurs mettre en place une stratégie de diminution de la fiscalité du capital, afin de libérer les capacités d’investissement qui doivent nous permettre de redevenir technologiquement indépendants.
