🚨This dates back to 2001 when Modi became the CM for first time. According to the rules once you become CM you must become a member of state legislature within 6 months. Modi wanted to contest from the “safe” Ellis bridge constituency in Ahmedabad which was a BJP stronghold & the sitting MLA was Haren Pandya Pandya refused to vacate the seat for Modi. This led to stalemate of sorts with the core leaderships intervening & reports say Modi refused to take their calls & even got admitted in a hospital saying he was unwell Ultimately he contested & won from Rajkot 2 seat. In the 2002 state elections held in December - post the Gujrat riots - Pandya was denied the MLA ticket to Ellisbridge bringing the internal tussle in BJP Gujrat to fore On 26th March 2003, Haren Pandya was murdered after his routine morning walk in Law garden area of Ahmedabad.

Please stop lying to citizens just to please Modi. Women reservation bill was approved in 2023 itself. It can be passed even now . But your gang wanted to pass Delimitation bill which would weaken the representation of South Indian states including Andhra Pradesh. Requesting you not to sell the self respect and the State rights of Andhra People who have made you DCM 🙏🙏🙏 I am ready for debate with you to explain . Are you ready #justasking

A historic opportunity to strengthen women’s representation in India’s legislatures has been deliberately blocked by the opposition. The opposition’s stance makes it clear that they lack the intent to support transformative reforms that strengthen Bharat’s democracy and empower women. By refusing to back the Women’s Reservation Bill, they have once again placed political calculations above national progress, delaying a long-overdue step toward inclusive governance and gender justice. Supporting this landmark reform would have demonstrated a collective commitment to empowering women and deepening democratic values. As an NDA ally, the @JanaSenaParty firmly welcomes and appreciates the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in bringing this significant bill before Parliament. Had it been passed, it would have marked a defining moment of pride and progress for millions of women across the country. We remain confident that, in the days ahead, women will secure their rightful and strengthened place in India’s legislative institutions. @PMOIndia @AndhraPradeshCM

Gargi is a girls only college in south delhi, goons from ABVP broke the door and forcibly entered the college in presence of Police. The DUSU President from ABPV was also part of this mob. Why has police under @CPDelhi not registered FIR against these goons ? This is how BJP wants women empowerment ? Why is @LtGovDelhi not giving directions to register FIR ?
