What timing for GCSE fieldwork! Extensive costal management happening at working beach

Due to the #WorthingMarathon, all Worthing bus services will be on diversion on 3 May 2026, from 05:00 to 14:00. During this time, all services will operate via Worthing Town Hall, where passengers can board and alight. Further updates will be announced on 3 May 2026.

Climping Beach is a 32.1-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Littlehampton in West Sussex. The eastern half is designated a Local Nature Reserve called West Beach. Clymping Parish Council have said they were notified by the Environment Agency that work to move the shingle on Climping Beach to better protect the homes from coastal erosion starting 2/2/26 more on @brightonargus
