Dr. Kingsley Y. Amoako, Founder and President of the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) Thursday said Ghana required consistency in national development policies and programmes. In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, he emphasized that the tendency of a change in government interrupting the implementation and continuation of previous governments’ policies and projects should be stopped. The Ghana Compact Citizens' Convention, an initiative formulated by Dr. K.Y. Amoako, Founder and President of the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), in collaboration with seven prominent policy institutes, has commenced in Accra. The Compact for Political and Economic Transformation is focused on setting a vision for our nation, outlining collectively agreed solutions for our biggest challenges, and identifying targets for tracking progress towards this vision. This initiative represents a significant step towards creating a prosperous and equitable future for all Ghanaians. I am proud to support these efforts and look forward to working together to achieve these goals. Myself and the NPP Manifesto delegation are in attendance alongside our colleagues from the NDC and other parties. The objective is to ensure that the positions expressed in the compact are well considered by the parties as we wrap up our manifestos.
