There isn’t a midfielder on the planet I’d have above Pedri, and I’d make a strong case that I’ve never seen a midfielder at the level he’s consistently been at since he was a literal 16YO. If he has occasional drop offs (which are massively exaggerated btw), it’s because every coach he’s played under values him too much to actually give him a sufficient amount of rest.

3 years ago, I sa8d he can only make it at high level if his passing & creativity increases because his close control is not close enough & he's too slow(recently got outran by a semi retired player).
That's why his consistency dropped.
