Do you agree that G20 countries should be doing more compared to other countries in order to tackle climate change, considering disproportionate contributions to greenhouse emissions? Or do you think that everyone should be contributing equally? #ClimateAction #SustainableFuture

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is estimated that climate change will be the cause of around 250,000 additional deaths per year between 2030 and 2050 (as a result of heat stress, malnutrition, diarrhoea, and malaria). #ClimateAction #SustainableFuture

Tipping points refer to certain thresholds wherein a seemingly minor change leads to disruptive and irreversible consequences for the environment. The warmer the earth gets, the higher risk of climate-related tipping points arising. #GlobalMindpool #MakeYourVoiceHeard

Many blame corporations and industry for the acceleration of climate change. Very few corporations contribute enormous amounts to total greenhouse emissions, indicating the critical impact that industry has on the fate of our planet. Thoughts?

Collective intelligence can be the solution to climate change if we go about it the smart way. Everyone is affected by climate change and everyone will continue to be affected by climate change unless we make the conscious decision to come together and do something about it.

The more engaged citizens there are to put pressure on policymakers, the higher the likelihood that leaders will actually do something about it. But should this issue be put at the very top of the agenda, in front of other challenges? What do you think?

The albedo effect refers to the ability of an object to reflect light. The reason it is relevant to climate change is because the lower the albedo effect, the more sun is absorbed, therefore contributing to warmer temperatures. Are there any other terms you want covered?

Have you heard of the paper battery? It could be a game-changer. A Swiss institute, Empa, has now developed this biodegradable paper battery that only requires a drop of water to activate it. This is meant to help with reducing low-power e-waste.

Who is to blame for climate change? This is a very complicated question, and will no doubt generate an array of complicated answers, too. There’s not really a right or wrong answer to this, and it is very hard to point fingers, but is there someone that you blame?
