I've always been high on Bud, he's a generational talent who would compete in any era, but I've been telling people for the last 2-3 years that Canelo was no longer a P4P fighter. Look at his last few fights before Crawford... William Scull, Edgar Berlanga and Jaime Munguia all took Canelo the distance and even won some rounds. Subsequently, Scull was outclassed and stopped by Jacob Bank, a prospect, Berlanga was destroyed by Hamzah Sheeraz, a junior contender, and Munguia was flattened by Bruno Surace, a journeyman. It goes on from there... Once again, I took heat for saying the hard thing when it was unsafe to, but was vindicated in the end.
