@YUNGJEFF yeaaahhh theres some really cool moments in fishman island and the flashback is top tier, but the plot of fishman island isnt suuuuper interesting and hordy is a lackluster antagonist. the arc is mostly to show us how much the straw hats have grown as characters

Queen Otohime is definitely one of the cooler characters so far in Fishman Island to me!
Her, Tiger Fisher and Arlong are the main 3 keeping me really interested atm but they're all gone in the present day 💀
Maybe the princess will grow to be more like her in the future

so i skipped the filler arc and im on episode 111 now i think? im trying to cacth up and the blended filler is making it confusing. So this kid Hirako is here now and he called Ivhigo a visored?….somehow Uruya lost his powers? did i miss that?

Toshiro has been fighting the real fight this whole time. he’s the one tbats been asking the real questions. ichigo and the others have been fighting surface level issues (not saying they are wrong based on their information). Toshiro’s digging for the corruption though.

heres the one thing im not a fan of so far…this soul society arc is already establishing ichigo as one of the stronger soul reapers. so if my suspicions are right of him atleast becoming “friend” of soul reapers, let a lone a member, any future foes that he fights…
