The unique financial challenges being faced by Scottish unis mean this is the only way to ensure Scottish students can study without tuition fees, we rely more on funding from non-uk students. As a Scottish former student, I am happy.

@Alfaromeo170 Another interesting stat is that the number of foreign students at Scottish universities has rise from 1 in 20 to 1 in 4 in that same period too. Anyone needs to do no more than wander a uni campus check the West End of Glasgow. To see just how non-Scottish our unis have become.
