Serebryanski had served 99 days in a New York jail cell before he was extradited to face court in Melbourne in 2023, and he is now free. In sentencing the now-62-year-old to a suspended jail term, Victorian County Court Judge John Kelly described Serebryanski's actions as transgressive and predatory.
