Ben McCollum needs a little more talent in Iowa City, but retention feels like everything for this group. If guys like Cooper Koch, Alvaro Folgueiras and Tate Sage stay, Iowa is going to be a real factor. The proof is in the pudding. If you stay, McCollum gets you better.

Brendan Hausen's college career ended tonight. Though he didn't play a minute in his first NCAA Tournament, he was thankful for the Iowa journey. “When you have a group of guys that love each other and care so much, it makes it that much harder. We may have just witnessed the greatest 24 (or really 27) hour span in Iowa men’s basketball history. The Hawkeyes beat Nebraska to reach the Elite Eight for the 1st time since 1987. Then watch Iowa State lose in the Sweet 16. Good times in Iowa City.
