@Morbidful "His body was hanged in chains at Tyburn, London, and then thrown into a pit. His head was cut off and displayed on a pole outside Westminster Hall until 1685."
I read as far as here before my previous comment.
I repeat, good.
Photograph of Oliver Cromwell’s mummified head.
Oliver Cromwell was an English statesman, politician and soldier, widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of the Britain.
Cromwell died on 3 September 1658, aged 59. His death was due to complications relating to a form of malaria, and kidney stone disease.
Cromwell's body was exhumed from Westminster Abbey on 30 January 1661, the 12th anniversary of the execution of Charles I, and was subjected to a posthumous execution.
His body was hanged in chains at Tyburn, London, and then thrown into a pit. His head was cut off and displayed on a pole outside Westminster Hall until 1685.
Afterwards, it was owned by various people, including a documented sale in 1814 to Josiah Henry Wilkinson, and it was publicly exhibited several times before being buried beneath the floor of the antechapel at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, in 1960.
@paul_tomkins You're just going to preach to the acolytes. Whatever you say will be insignificant, and ignored in a wider context. Football is vulgar and corrupt.
Don't read this as a pejorative comment, it's not intended as such.
@paul_tomkins 1. Who do you hope will pay attention to you?
1a. Who will pay attention to you?
2. What do you hope to achieve?
2a. What will you achieve?
3. Do you think you will be successful in nailing these officials?
Former subscriber here, best of luck, but nothing will happen.
@mattschneidman@BillHuberNFL Unfortunately, being on the other side of the Atlantic I'm always late to this party, but have a look at Marcedes Lewis' effort during the winning FG. Milliseconds away from another ST clusterfuck there.
@Doncsicso@HackettMark Hi Folks, our outage checker will give the latest estimated repair times (virginmedia.ie/customer-suppo…) and that's updated right up to 6pm each day but our engineering teams continue working on faults well past that time ^Brian
@VirginMediaIE Anyone know about an existing issue in the Clonmel area? According to the Virgin service detector, an earlier issue was fixed by 6pm today but I’m still without Internet … working from home is not fun when I can’t connect to my work resources… thanks!
@Doncsicso@VirginMediaIE If I may hijack this thread - second outage in as many days here too. Also trying to work. Estimated time of repair is 5pm, just as helplines/customer care close for the day. If not repaired by then will there be an update posted before close of business?
@VirginMediaIE Hi Brian! Thanks for the update! Will these outages be a regular occurrence from now on or there are some upgrades going on that affect the service? I haven’t had this many outages in the last 2 years combined! Cheers!
@mattschneidman 1. Obviously he'll go but will replacing ST coordinator bring dramatic improvement? Or is it as much about player issue?
2. Considering how bad ST are, why is every kickoff not booted into the endzone? Maybe that's not possible in cold weather? 🤷🏻♂️
@BillHuberSI Whatever happens in the final two minutes, what kind of nonsense/arrogance went on in the last quarter? Two consecutive time outs, 10 men on the field, delays of game etc etc etc 🤦. How does that happen?
