@Mayx_RS @_JustHailey Yeah for sure, I totally get what Warframe is going for, and it's great it's going well, i've thought a few expansions for the game looked really cool. It's just ultimately not for me.

@HalvoDora @_JustHailey that's the only popular criticism i can say "valid" but, Waframe is not expecting you to only play their game, like several other GAAS out there. Warframe actually WANT you to play something else and have other interests, so whenever you play warframe you don't feel tired

Warframe is the only game that can be fully f2p, allow you to farm for anything gameplay related you want FOR FREE, and release consistent FREE updates but still get called “gacha” because of “loot tables” Gotta be jealousy over every “competitor” ending themselves, right? 🤯

@HMBohemond Hello. Been playing since 3.5 originally disliked stormblood but changed my opinion over a replay. Completed the game twice up to the current patch on a main and an alt. Savage and ultimate raider for 6+ years. I like Dawntrail. Its not forced. Its not political. Its fun.

Honestly, Dawntrail fans and Star Wars Sequel fans are identical. Neither actually likes Final Fantasy XIV or Star Wars. They just feel politically obligated to defend a badly written female main character. The whole "fan" thing for them is just larping.

@snark_talks Theres always a case to be made about skipping a final fantasy story for gameplay but on the other hand the gameplay is pretty fun. Its like. Do what you like and dont listen to the haters I suppose. People are never going to stop being miserable about someone else's experience

It’s 2026, we are gonna be 6 expansions deep into FFXIV soon. Can we stop with the weird gatekeepy behavior if someone doesn’t want to play through 250 hours of story to be able to play some of the best MMO raid encounters ever made? Heaven forbid someone asks you a small lore question if they start getting interested in the story after starting the game 10 years late. Are we really gonna keep driving people away with this weird NIMBY ritual? Just use your social skills (lol) and answer the small question, suggest they start a story alt on their downtime, or direct them to a synopsis video on YouTube. Crying about “story skippers” this deep into a game’s development cycle is peak cringe. If they set up a skip to Dawntrail for new characters to jump into the new story arc I and many others feel like it would be beneficial for the game’s long term health. While the Hydaelyn/Zodiark arc is great storytelling it’s also not a sacred cow for people to clutch pearls over. At the end of the day, it’s a game to be played. We’re all better than this and should start acting like it.
