I have a 100%iv Dialga with no RoT, so I understand 'In-person Kalos Tour was awful' It was. I'd go as far as saying it's the worst IP event ever put together. I bought a ticket for LA *expecting* more to be announced, and that didn't happen. The takeaway should be as individuals to not book IP events unless you'll be satisfied with what's actually been announced, not with what you've convinced yourself will happen 'There was no need to get rid of Spotlight Hour' Saying there was no need is conjecture. The validity of the change will always be up for debate, and there are likely fringe cases on both ends of the spectrum. Unless we start going hard into repeats (and I know some Pokemon have already gotta repeat Spotlight Hours) the actual pool for new Spotlight hours is really, really small, like psuedo-Pokemon / egg locked / raid locked / regionals / new releases only. I know people are upset about the loss of the bonuses (I hear a lot of discourse on 2x transfer candy) but tbh the bonuses and their impact are really overblown, and ironically 2x transfer candy is imo the worst one anyways 'Niantic shouldn't raid lock new Pokemon, especially first route spawns' Yeah, they probably shouldn't. But just don't raid them or only use your free pass? Don't succumb to FOMO and just wait for it to spawn, like Rookidee. Is it annoying? I mean mildly, but can't say not having a (non-shiny) Blipbug available to me to grind immediate on release is going to ruin my day

@SWOLYMPIAN I think the main problem is not whether people see the Ready button, just if they want to press it 🫠

PSA of everyone UNAWARE of how to press ready in a raid! Follow these steps (it’s so easy): 1. Click into the raid you want to join 2. The ready button is located at the center of your screen. Press “ready!” when highlighted green 3. THATS IT. EFFORTLESS. Save time for everyone

To clarify If I'm the host: * I can choose to hit ready right away (Zacian is duoable) * I can invite + fish for interactions, prolong the lobby timer. Now with the current friend limit, interacting with everyone is difficult

There's private lobby and turning off ability for people to hijack off friend list of course, but pogo is already slow/flaky enough as is I'm often on a moving bus, so if a full 2 minute lobby timer elapses, the bus will get out of range of the raid unless it stops

If I'm a joiner: * It's up to the host(s) to decide what they want to do with their raid. Since I don't want to waste the host's time regardless, I press ready. Most t5s are duoable * Exception is wanting to have at least 8-10 people for a super mega raid
