@thekingsshield "Well, he's a lot better than me," Athos chuckles softly and leads him back inside. Porthos is up and talking with d'Artagnan when they return, helping him finish up with breakfast. Aramis goes over to Porthos and kisses his cheek before helping as well.

@HauntedMusket He grins at that, getting to his feet to rest. "He said something about making waffles and pancakes. I didn't know he could cook."

@HauntedMusket "That sounds lovely." He says, sipping his smoothie. God, he doesn't realize how hungrh he is, but he can wait. "Lead the way, Captain." He teases.

@thekingsshield Athos nods and squeezes his friend's shoulder with a smile. There's no way he could have done all of this without Aramis. "Come on. I bet he'll have breakfast ready by now."

@HauntedMusket "Has he?" He muses softly, leaning back. "He does seem like the day dreamer type. Let us know when you want to do it, yes? We can try and figure it out for you."

@thekingsshield "Yeah, I think it'll be perfect," he nods with a smile. "He's really been enjoying the beach." Everything seems to be working out so far and Athos is actually looking forward to asking.

@HauntedMusket “Okay. I’ll let Porthos know you have an appointment and want somewhere more private, too, so he won’t suspect anything.” He says with a little smile, sipping his coffee. “Did you still want to do it at that spot we went to?”

@thekingsshield "I just... He deserves something nice, well thought out, you know?" Athos shrugs and sips some more of his coffee with a nod. "Yeah, that sounds good." It's something d'Artagnan won't argue about, at least.

@HauntedMusket “And Porthos says I’m the romantic one.” He says with a little grin, and he nods, reaching out to send a little text to Porthos to give him an update. “We can say you have an appointment with your therapist and want a private spot? Be out for a few hours?”

@thekingsshield "I'd like to look a little more," he nods. "I have a feeling he'll try to fight me if I give him my father's ring." Athos smiles a little at the thought. ""We should look at candles, too. Maybe some flowers?"

@HauntedMusket Aramis raises a brow, tilting his head to look up at him. “You still looking for a ring?” He asks quietly so his voice doesn’t carry inside.

@thekingsshield Athos smiles a bit, glad that things have seemed to work out between the two once again. They're all ready to move on. "Think we can convince him to take d'Artagnan out for the day?" He asks, sipping his coffee.

@HauntedMusket d’Artagnan smiles when he nods towards Aramis before getting back to cooking. Aramis mouths out a small ‘thank you’ when he takes the coffee, and shifts over o let Athos sit with him. “Yeah. He stayed up late last night reading.” He snorts. “He should be up soon, though.”

@thekingsshield "I can wait for the others," Athos shrugs and kisses d'Artagnan's cheek before going to make some coffee. He catches a glimpse of Aramis out on the deck and pours a cup for all three of them. After placing one on the counter for d'Artagnan, he takes the --

@thekingsshield --d'Artagnan, he wonders if he can convince Porthos to take him out again while he plans a bit more with Aramis. Athos eventually makes his way into the kitchen and smiles when he sees d'Artagnan. "You're up early."

@thekingsshield Athos sleeps in a bit longer and when he wakes up, he is surprised to find himself alone. Taking a deep breath, he reminds himself that d'Artagnan is okay and goes to shower and get ready for the day. As much as he wants to spend time with --

@thekingsshield --smile on his lips as he drifts off to sleep, comfortable with d'Artagnan in his arms.

@thekingsshield Athos hums softly, making sure that d'Artagnan is asleep before closing his own eyes. Spending time with d'Artagnan today had made him truly realize that he is making the right choice. He wants nothing more than to spend his life with d'Artagnan. There's a small --

@thekingsshield "No, I get it," he chuckles, absentmindedly playing with d'Artagnan's hair. They have time to rest now, and they should take full advantage of that.

@HauntedMusket “I think we can work that out.” He says, wrapping his arms around him. “I don’t mind a slow day tomorrow. Or get some fresh air in. I don’t want to push myself too much, but I don’t want to sit around all day, you know?”

@thekingsshield Athos smiles and shifts a little to make himself comfortable. "See if we're feeling up to company in the morning?" He suggests with a shrug.

@HauntedMusket “Yeah?” He smiles, reaching over to kiss him properly again before he brings the blankets over them. “Should we bring them with us this time? Or just keep it between the both of us?”

@thekingsshield Athos smiles softly, looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together like this. "I'll see if Aramis has any suggestions for us," he says, wrapping his arms around d'Artagnan.

@HauntedMusket “Maybe check out some historical sites?” He suggests, shifting so he’s curled next to him. “Or whatever you’re up to. I don’t mind, really. Just as long as I’m with you.”

@thekingsshield Athos shrugs and rolls over to his own side of the bed before making himself comfortable. "Is there something you wanted to do?"

@HauntedMusket — “So what’s the plan tomorrow?” He asks softly, brushing his hair away from his face.

@thekingsshield There's an 'oof' as Athos is pulled down to the bed, but he has a grin on his face as he returns the kiss. He's glad that d'Artagnan is okay. Yesterday had been terrifying, but now it feels like a distant memory.

@HauntedMusket d’Artagnan smiles softly when Athos leads him, and he takes Athos’ hand, pulling him into bed with him— or maybe on top of him. “I’m okay. Exhausted, but in a good way. I’m glad we went out.” He says, reaching to kiss him.

@thekingsshield Athos leads him to their room and helps d'Artagnan into bed. "How're you feeling?" He asks softly, knowing they've had a long day. The last thing he wants is for d'Artagnan to make himself sick again.
