Btw shift away from world-driven doesn't mean "no worldbuilding", because there's still so much of it. Just the driver of plots and stories seems to focus so much more on character growth and relationships, and I want to embrace this 😊

< that are super outdated about exposition, characters, etc. Honestly modern fantasy works so much better with my brain. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My draft is progressing super well now because I decided to flesh it out. This is new—I usually start w/ruthless trimming—but the first draft was too sparse in the important areas, and too wordy in the unimportant areas. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So, padding it up first, then hacking & slashing.

To prove your submission is not AI-generated we now require the following: ✔ Evidence of writers block. ✔ Affidavit of impostor syndrome. ✔ Footage of procrastinating on social media to avoid writing. (3 hours minimum.)

@AndreaGStewart Oversized! Reading requires me to pretzel and unpretzel my spine as frequently as possible, and that's hard to do in a swivel chair.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: which is better for a reading chair, a swivel armchair or an oversized armchair?

The only place I want AI in writing is maybe "change this exact draft from present tense to past tense because I keep switching back due to the tense of my previous work, for I am a doorknob"
