Families like this need nutritious meals for their sick son and the food is available but not affordable. Less than 20% of needed trucks are allowed in and most of the trucks are commercial. Junk food is allowed in in large quantities while vegetables and meat are allowed in in small quantities. One kilo of meat is around $18 so if we want to cook a few thousand meals, The Sameer Project would need hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.
