Tonight Mia, Seb and Harry laid a wreath on behalf of our school at the Last Post ceremony. This was our final visit after a busy few days immersed in all things WW1. It’s been a real privilege to take them on this journey @bthcc_college@lastpostieper@HistoryBTH
Today we all went with Isaac to find his great great Grandad -Gunner Harry Bates, he served with the Royal Field Artillery and rests here at Railway Dugout Burial Ground. It’s a really beautiful place- superb upkeep from @CWGC@bthcc_college@HistoryBTH

One of our last visits yesterday was to Lijssenhoek @CWGC What a beautifully kept cemetery this is. We found a whole host of nationalities, a female nurse, an Olympian and a VC winner. @bthcc_college@JohnCornally@MrFishwick_BTHC
