One of the greatest pleasures I have when I come to X is to express sympathy to anyone and everyone who has lost a beloved pet, be it a dog, a cat, a bird, or a lizard. In the last two days, I have noticed that there are many people who are duplicating either their words, their pictures of their pets, or both. Also, there are several posts placed by the same person but with different pets. Because of this, I’ve lost my desire to express my sympathy as I don’t know what is real and what is not. To those of you who have genuinely lost a beloved pet, know that I am truly sympathetic. I just may not say so. This is my Daisy who crossed The Rainbow Bridge 2 years ago. My heart still aches.💔

In the late seventies I crossed the Atlantic on the QE2. I went First Class, which I paid for with my first real paycheck. We had a mandatory dress code for dinner. Black Tie and commensurate formal wear for the ladies. It was one of my favorite memories.

This is Rusty. For 16 years he's been the best friend I could ask for, but this morning we had to make a decision we'd hoped never to have to, and he went to sleep for the last time. He was the sweetest, most handsome, most loveable guy. I'll love and miss him forever.

Today had to put down our dog Coco that we got back in 2009. He was 17 years and 8 months, he lived a happy and vibrant life. He loved barking at bikes, cars and sometimes small children. He's been through so much, liver failure and cancer where he came back stronger until today

HORRIFIC!! Ezekiel Lamar Jackson committed a brutal, premeditated 5 hour attack on a female residential cleaner inside his Canton, Georgia apartment. According to prosecutors from the Cherokee County District Attorney's Office, the crime unfolded through the following events: Jackson posted an ad on the Nextdoor app seeking apartment cleaning services. Investigation of his phone showed he explicitly chose to reply only to a lone female respondent while ignoring male or business applicants. When the victim arrived at his apartment on April 6, 2026, Jackson blindsided her in the bathroom. He stabbed her in the face, neck, and eye with a screwdriver. He also choked her until she nearly lost consciousness. Jackson held the victim captive for nearly five hours. He repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted her while threatening to kill her if she tried to escape. The victim managed to survive by convincing Jackson to take her to Northside Cherokee Hospital. She promised to tell medical staff that her injuries were from an accidental fall. Once at the hospital, the victim immediately disclosed the truth to medical staff. Canton Police Department officers arrested Jackson as he sat waiting in the lobby. Medical evaluations revealed the victim suffered an orbital fracture, facial trauma, and multiple active brain bleeds. Jackson pleaded guilty to all 10 criminal counts. These included two counts of rape, three counts of aggravated sodomy, kidnapping, aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, and terroristic threats. A judge sentenced Jackson to life in prison with the possibility of parole, followed by 40 years of strict probation. He must also permanently register as a sex offender and pay restitution to the victim.
