✍️The annual event of the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA 2025) concluded with the drafting and publication of a document that called for public policies and private strategies to promote greater use of technologies aimed at conserving resources, boosting productivity, and advancing environmental conservation. 🌿 🤝IICA Director General, Manuel Otero, expresses full support for the document that was presented in a letter addressed to André Corrêa do Lago, President of COP 30, and Roberto Rodrigues, Special Envoy for the agricultural sector to this global forum, which will take place in Brazil and draw the world’s attention.✨. No segundo dia da Conferência do IFAMA, Beth Bechdol apresentou o tema: Gerando Sistemas Agroalimentares Resilientes e Sustentáveis para o Futuro. Comentou sobre os desafios e oportunidades para alimentar toda a população mundial, frente a grandes desafios e transformações.

Participei da 35ª Conferência Mundial da IFAMA 2025, realizada em Ribeirão Preto, Brasil, representando o IICA no país. Na imagem, estou acompanhado por Manuel Otero, Diretor Geral do IICA, João Castro, da Primos Agro, e Manoel Mário, da Alagro.

Beth Bechdol, Diretora-adjunta da FAO, reuniu-se, durante a conferência mundial do IFAMA, com jovens de diferentes países que trabalham no setor agrícola e procuram inovar para transformar os sistemas agroalimentares. Jovens mulheres expressaram suas ideias e desafios.
