Police and other forces have stormed into One Constitution Avenue in the middle of the night, shouting at residents to vacate their homes by morning. Who operates like this, especially in the heart of the capital? What image are you projecting of Pakistan? What kind of law and order is this? This is not an isolated incident. The CDA and Interior Ministry have carried out similar actions in Islamabad’s villages, displacing thousands who had lived there for decades. This is governance marked by recklessness, insensitivity, and a complete disregard for citizens’ dignity.
