@rsetera @DaaChazz Holy sh*t! Didn’t even think about them returning the stuff for credit! I was like what the hell are they doing with the thousands of dollars worth of classroom stuff they have gotten over the last several years! Makes sense now. Pretty freaking scummy!

@Crzy_89 I’ve posted room pics and videos in the past…mainly of my classroom after it has been packed up for the summer.

So I spent the better half of the day compiling a tag list of all the teachers I have seen share classroom pics with them inside. I went through Ryan Bartlett 's train drawing thread and added everyone I saw who looked legit. Some were out of school and did theirs on paper so I went through their media tabs to find anything, if I did, I added them. One thing I noticed that would make this VERY easy for all helpers, keep a small VIDEO of your class that eventually shows you in it. No students. No badges or IDs needed. Kind of hard to replicate with ai. Most of you post amazon pics and list pics so we can't really have Pics media as proof. It'll just get drowned out. But what I noticed is most of you never post videos so if you posted one as I said above, it would essentially be pinned to your account under the Videos tab, separated from the images and gifs tab. Helpers can also verify you guys instantly if you have a DonorsChoose since they ask for credentials and such. Also class Gooses were a great verifier as well. 😂 If we see a video or a DonorsChoose, we instantly know you are legit. Back to my taglist, I was compiling it for myself so I could just bookmark it and always find it. It will allow me to easily click names and go to your pages when I want to donate. But one issue, anytime you guys interact with that post, it will send a notification to like 200 teachers. You guys could mute it after I post those since a majority of you are still active which may solve that. I didn't finish because there were so many of you but I got quite a bit already.

Greed. Pure greed. You can’t call out other teachers when you’re doing exactly what you’re calling out other people for. And yes, it’s a handful of you teachers being condescending and hypocritical. This is what drives away the people who actually take an interest in helping others. Y’all go against your morals with your “me, me, me mentality” just to have multiple wishlists cleared, only to add new items and act like shit wasn’t cleared previously. This is the biggest reason I ignore “teacher twitter” wishlists.

@SirKingMecha1 I will only help 2 teachers on here and that is @BlackHeart3113 and @MrsOTeachesK They both are good ones and give back too. I know there are a few other good ones but these are ladies I’ve known several years.

@bar_time14 So I shouldn’t make a daily post begging for coffee or for my own children’s Christmas wishlist to be purchased? It gets so annoying seeing those posts and then the calls of being bullied when they are called out.

I have a few teachers that are friends I see weekly and a few on here. None of them ever ask for anything, let alone anything for themselves… this teacher twitter shit is out of control, buy your own slippers and stuff off your self care lists. I appreciate what you all do but, you’re abusing the generosity of silent givers and taking away from those who are truly trying to get supplies for their class. Time and time again I’ve watched lists get cleared and a few hours later those same people have a new list and on top of that you add your own personal list while @ the public givers in a not so subtle way and make it seem like you ‘appreciate what they do’ all in hopes they will see it and buy for you.

Help! I’m new to 4th grade this year and have no idea what to give my students for Christmas! Gifting 1st graders was easy, but I’m not sure 4th graders would enjoy the same things. What do you gift your 4th graders that is inexpensive. I have 26 in my class.
