We have just release 1.6.1.0 This is a bug fix release to restore a fully statically linked haskell-language-server-wrapper executable. * It has been reported here: github.com/haskell/haskel… * And fixed with: github.com/haskell/haskel…

@TechnoEmpress From that issue: "Distributing dynamically linked binaries is complicated because you also need to distribute the Haskell package shared objects and any C dependencies. Moreover, you need to manipulate rpaths or use an LD_LIBRARY_PATH wrapper."

@istathar hls binaries are not fully static and it does not link some system libs, so we can't guarantee th eval will work in all user environments we have lot of issues about th and the usual suggestion has been to build hls from source fully dynamic In this release we add it as an alert

@istathar However it could work in some envs by coincidence so if it was working for you it will continue doing it
