somaliland didn’t work this hard for stability just to import someone else’s chaos. secure the borders, protect the peace, and make sure the somalians stays outside our borders

let’s be honest about our cause and confront our opponents. they see us as enemies while we still welcome them into our land. people who forget too quickly end up paying twice. my fellow somalilanders, let’s be real.

Traitor to who? 😂 We voted for him, we’re proud of our President, and we’re thankful to Israel for the hospitality. Buddy, we’re not on your “team.” Anyway, here’s the view from Hargeisa this evening: we’re behind you, Mr. President. Press on.

It was a great honor to welcome President @Abdirahmanirro to Jerusalem to begin his first-ever state visit to Israel. Our task is now to move from declarations to action with people-to-people collaboration in a range of fields between out two wonderful nations.

@i24NEWS_EN it’s different when someone understands what you’ve been through, it creates a sense of shared understanding. Somaliland and Israel, they both rose from the ashes.

@ireallyhateyou @theafroaussie @oneafroaussie @moebari97 I love the selective outrage: She spewed genocidal venom at Somalilanders, said we deserved it and wished another one on us & y'all didn't flinch. But the second she scams a mere Palestinian, now it's too far? Fuck her and fuck y'all too. You're all scum who deserve each other.

Somalis are not Arabs, and never have been. They are Cushitic, African, indigenous to the Horn of Africa, with a history that predates the Arab world by thousands of years. While Arabia was still tribal and largely unknown to history, Somalis were already trading with the Pharaohs as the legendary "people of Punt." They had their own language, their own bloodlines, their own civilization. This is not up for debate—it's historical fact. And yet, some Somalis still claim Arab identity. Why? Often it comes down to confusion, social pressure or a desire to attach themselves to another group's perceived status. Somalis have one of the oldest and most distinct identities on the African continent—and that history stands entirely on its own.
