@liteskingroypr @sodakotaoda Believe me, I was really annoyed about that because I specifically bought GH copies of Jak 3 and RD for this off eBay and the Jak 3 disc was standard anyway. So I then bought another one the other day.

But Capcom’s attitude on this has been clear since they posted this alongside the GOG releases of RE1-3. Where “RE2” is the 2019 game & the original is listed as “RE2 (1998)” like it’s the side thing. When I think both are great, but one is the revolution classic.

Not to say remakes are bad, I just don’t think it’s the same. It’s someone else’s new take on an original work. Something I’m fine with existing, I just like playing original versions of games for videos for this very reason.

If anyone wants to know why I almost never use a remaster in place of an original version and never use a remake in my videos, fighting this attitude is why. A ground up remake is not the same game. If I’m talking about the impact of Crash 1, it’ll PS1 footage on the screen.

@NinTemple Superstars didn’t exist when that was made. I would put it in the Neo Classic Timeline after Encore Mode. Since, the idea that Classic Sonic is from another world has been retconned entirely. But I tried to explain it in a logical way since Mania & Forces claimed he was.

@JSREVIEWS2 hey there, I watched your entire Sonic timeline video and, forgive me if I missed it, but, where does Sonic Superstars fit?? (I haven't played it yet, so maybe it would be really obvious after I did).

@Wrongnu Thanks for watching! Can’t say I plan on covering that mod, since P-06 is everything I want (and is a full ground up remake), I’m not interested in a mod that improves Sonic 06 as is.
