Though a native son of Ohio, David Allan Coe’s music resonated deeply with Texans and Southerners. Coe was unafraid to push boundaries and leaves behind an irreplaceable legacy among country musicians. I’m saddened to hear of his passing and am praying for his family. nytimes.com/2026/04/30/art…

I would not be surprised if: • Glenallen Hill is being sold short • Mark McGwire should be on here • Andres Galarraga should be on here • Luke Easter should be on here 10 times

Rob, it’s been an honor to work alongside you over the past several years. You’ve given this city memories that will last a lifetime. You’ll always be a champion in my book. A true baseball man, and even better friend. Proud to know you. ⚾️

@CortesSteve @DailySignal This is seriously one of the stupidest things I’ve read all year. Basically, what you’re saying is that it’s OK to jump to conclusions, make harsh judgments and react according to your feelings rather than facts. That’s not how governing or even commentary should work.

Man, this stinks. I don’t think people realize just how savvy Rob was when it came to the business of people, specifically leading people. Never saw a coach publicly sacrifice himself more to protect his players, in an attempt to handle things professionally and privately.

Huge contrast between Rick Tocchet’s words last night after a big Flyers loss — he deflected talk about the officiating, gave credit to the Penguins, said his team has to pick it up — and Dan Muse’s whingeing after Game 3.

.@penguins tried to out-tough the @NHLFlyers. It’s not working. 3-1. Expect a lot more chippy crap from Crosby and Co. as this game goes on.
