He has represented England in various major tournaments, including the Deaflympics, World Cup, and Euro Championships. In addition to his football career, Jamie is also known for his participation in the reality show SAS: Who Dares Wins, where he aimed to raise awareness about deaf people and communication. having had to break lots of barriers and show everyone that we can also achieve great things. I’ve been trying to encourage deaf children to be confident & be proud of their deafness. My motto would be don’t let it get you down & use it as your individual uniqueness. 🙏🏼 3/3

I didn’t really know there was a deaf community out there & I didn’t have a deaf role model myself. I used to be embarrassed being deaf and wouldn’t want to admit it. During the last 10 years, I’ve made changes & I’m proud of my disability especially.. 2/3

Today I had a meeting about reflection of life. And of course, we chatted about my deafness, as it has played a big part of my life. I was discussing about the changes I’ve made along the way from having a hearing identity growing up to having a deaf identity now. 1/3
