@namaferd @c_angelicareads A strong manuscript benefits immensely from detailed, professional beta reading. Constructive feedback can really help refine your story, and I’d be happy to provide a thorough read to support this stage of your work

@c_angelicareads I had a woman from my writer's group who was a great beta reader, but alas, she left the group. So now I just have my husband and my editor. I also need to find more betas.

@FreNik1995 Hi Frederick, your story sounds great. Since it’s been translated, I’d be happy to help polish the language so it flows smoothly for middle grade readers whether as an editor or beta reader

Hello, my name is Frederick. Looking for #literaryagent.🙏🏻 I am the #author of #middlegradefantasy in the style of classic adventure fantasy (9-13+). The book is fully translated. I just need to find a native editor/beta reader for the final version. About 44000 words.

@RBurtonWriter Wow, that beta feedback is awesome,Charlie’s story sounds so gripping! Maybe kick off the first pages with a punchy moment of her inner struggle to hook readers. You’re killing it, and good luck with that deadline.

A beta reader made my night last night, sending in her log of typos and edits needed and this review: "I was hooked from the first chapter. I felt Charlie’s yearning, frustrations, and the tug-of-war between who she thought she should be and who she truly was. The story carried me on a rollercoaster of emotions—from dutiful wife to bohemian free spirit, finally at peace in her own skin. I laughed and cheered with her, cried with her, and felt deeply connected. The emotions were raw and real, and I lost myself in her world. The ending was perfect - closing one chapter while hinting at new adventures ahead. It left me satisfied, yet eager for more. You’ve done a bloody fantastic job—it’s very, very good." Needless to say, I'm beyond grateful. Now to fix the first 3 pages which beta readers say aren't grabbing them... but which bits to cut? Fix? I'm running out of time before my submission deadline... and overthinking what the agent may or may not like... but if 2-3 readers say it doesn't grab 'em, it's gotta be fixed!!😐 #debutfiction #amediting #betareader #Grateful #writersoftwitter #writerlife
