I’m very proud of this, we were the first password manager to have support for passkeys on the Web, followed by Android 14 when the beta launched and last night the iOS team stayed up and build passkey support for iOS - now you can use passkeys on any platform with Dashlane 🚀

@nullr0ute Nice! I use UniFi APs at home as well and they are great. I’ve tried to find better price/performance for their routing hardware and it’s hard to beat since they have hardware offload for routing etc.

@JeremyBrownTech I have a unifi dream machine pro SE and a pair of their 6Pro APs, there's an arm device which will deal with home automation, plus some other lab equipment that will go in there, inc a TSN switch and anything noisy 🤣

You know your renovations are getting to a point when the data cabinet goes in and all the Cat-6A is terminated so you can start to put the WiFi APs in place and roll up all the random network cables running around the house!

@ianmiell A shift is happening but I don’t think jobs will disappear overnight. Your thread makes me think about Jevons Paradox (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_pa…) perhaps in the end we will need more devs?Certainly there is a parallel to how many more devs there are since we started out!

So far, you have to tell AI what to think about, and asking the right questions is the hard bit. 10/10

I'm seeing a lot of hysteria about AI going around. People worried about 'losing their jobs to AI'. As someone who worried a lot about this kind of thing early in my career, my (unsolicited) advice is: please don't worry about this. 1/
