@rscragg @jamienye On the hunting survey… wouldn’t trying the carrot before the stick be a better idea? If the data is saving the government from having to pay to learn this information, why not give a discount instead? I know the answer to my own question, but….

It looks like a lot of nickel and dime stuff that seems to miss the big picture. Adding a couple hundred thousand here and a million there in revenue while hitting people on: recreation and vehicle ownership. Two things that are basically ubiquitous in this Province. And the EV fee is a blunt instrument that inordinately charges vehicles that will most typically be used within municipal boundaries for commuting. You can’t on one hand say that EV’s don’t work in Saskatchewan because they aren’t built for long distance driving, then act concerned they aren’t paying their fair share for highway infrastructure.
