Section 42 of South Africa’s Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977, it deals with arrest by a private person without a warrant (often called a citizen’s arrest). Why did they forget this ?

Israel was living carelessly, walking in disobedience, yet faithfully maintaining religious activities. They attended the festivals, gathered for solemn assemblies, offered sacrifices, and sang songs unto the Lord. Outwardly they appeared devoted, but their lives told a different story. Sadly, much of the Church today mirrors the same pattern. We fill church buildings, attend conferences, sing worship songs, quote Bible verses, and post Christian content, yet many continue to live in unrepentant sin, compromise, unforgiveness, pride, greed, sexual immorality, and injustice. We have become comfortable with the appearance of godliness while neglecting genuine obedience. That is why the Lord said: “I hate all your show and pretense, the hypocrisy of your religious festivals and solemn assemblies.” (Amos 5:21, NLT)

There's the thread about women sharing their academic successes. I checked out and congratulated 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 the first ten. Women are educated out there. I won't lie, I looked at my diploma & three law degrees going on a fourth and I thought - sit this one out Mabreezer, you're never too old to study. Congratulations to each and every woman out there for any and every academic qualification achieved. You are conquerors. For those still on the path - may you forge ahead to greater heights.

Easy to romanticise free movement until you're the victim of a serious crime. States document people not merely for border control but for accountability. Victims deserve more than slogans; they deserve a system capable of identifying, locating, prosecuting, &convicting offenders

Once you decide to change your life and follow God, you learn to pray with real faith. Faith means trusting God like a child trusts a parent, even when you don't feel it or fully understand what’s happening. This is possible because Jesus gives us a direct connection to God. Because Jesus is the way in, he can confidently tell us to keep searching and asking for help.
