Classic "Heads I win, tails you lose" nonsense from Schefter. If the Bengals don't take the swing for Lawrence, the narrative is, "What does Burrow think about the lack of aggression", and when they do take the swing, it turns into, "If the results don't follow, will Burrow be happy?" Schefter needs to stick to copying and pasting agent texts on personnel matters/transactions and save the tired narratives masquerading as analysis.

Absolutely, 100% true. The draft was better when we didn't know before the broadcast who was being picked.
But this is also an NFL problem. If the reporters know early, why do we have to wait sometimes 15+ minutes for the stage folks to get their act together?
