You're just so used to it being Ultramarines that you forgot the starter box Marines are never meant to conform to a single chapter's aesthetics. Because they're meant to be used with any potential Space Marine army. It's on YOU to make them not generic. That's how the hobby works. And this is coming from a guy who started with the dawn of 3rd edition, which had Black Templars as the featured faction. Guess what? They were generic, too. You'll live, I'm sure.
