@HonSoolRapper Hi! I couldn't find the original conversation, but just messaged you about the SUGA jersey 🙂

@camlovesyoongi Same. The time saved alone was worth the tariffs. Plus I knew there was zero chance I wanted to wake up and get in line at some ungodly hour to even have a minuscule chance at getting it.

@LG_skip I'm more M/L but I'll take it. I want it for memorabilia anyway. Let me know when you have it and we'll go from there. Is that okay?

@HonSoolRapper It’s the S/M. They only offer it in S/M and L/XL if I remember correctly.

@LG_skip That is so nice of you yes please. May I ask which size?

@Livheartt Some people never fail to live down to expectations. It's just tiring at this point

@LG_skip Someone once asked me how I managed to get a place in a masters program in the uk if English was just a second language 🧍🏻♀️ I hate ppl sometimes

Some condescending idiot today
👤 wow you speak English really well
Me: 👀 oh thanks
👤 what’s your first language though?
Me: English
👤 no like your native language.
Me: English
👤 I mean your mother tongue
Me: …. English
👤 you’re misunderstanding me. You’re Asian. What Asian language did you speak before learning English?
Me: do you know what mother tongue means?
👤 your native tongue
Me: mmm but what does it mean? By definition?
👤 …
Me: not sure? It’s ok. I’ll tell you. One’s mother tongue is the language they first learn to speak as a child. I grew up in Malaysia. Predominantly colonised by the British up til 69 years ago. The first language I was taught and spoke as a child was English. Hence, my mother tongue is English. I grew up speaking English. So did my parents. My grandparents. Their parents before them. What you probably wanted to know is what other languages I speak. Which I do. I speak four. Malay, Tamil and mandarin. Fluent in all. Although I learnt all 4 at about the same time, the other 3 are my second language. English is my first. As per definition. So. Does that answer your question about my asianness?
👤 *nods*
Me: wonderful.
Isn’t micro racism just the most fun thing ever to encounter 😀
